The join States experienced many divergent world events that helped propel it to becoming the worlds tops(p) power. From the Monroe philosophy which would help the get together States isolate itself from the Colonialism of the European nations and align itself as the super power of the Americas, to the Spanish American War which ended Spanish rule in the Americas as well as helped the linked States acquire its own territories, to the first and second World Wars which at long last bankrupted all of Europe, to the rise and fall of Communism and the ending of the Cold War. So why were these events so important to the rise of the United States? As the Spanish began losing its territories to independence in Central and South America, the United States adopted the Monroe principle to help isolate these American countries from outside European nations so it could obtain the dominant nation in the Americas. The Monroe doctrine helped the United States set up puppet nations in C entral and South America who were devoted to United States business and political interest. From the Monroe Doctrine many Central American and Southern American countries gained their independence from Spanish rule the doctrine tell that any European nation that tried to force its rule upon the rebelling aboriginal and southern American nations would also have to face United States intervention. The United States was fit to keep these new nations from really prospering while exploiting their infixed resources for American business. Take for example the Panama Canal put in place by the American government and funded by American business. It helped elicit the American economy as well as showed the United States military machine might, and made it clear that the Monroe Doctrin... ...super power in the world. Throughout the United States memorial it had to struggle to be taken seriously as a country, however, in its short time as a developing nation it was able to become th e most powerful and well-disposed nation in the Americas and posterior through European and Asian events become the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world. The Spanish American War, WWI and WWII and the fall of communism be the most significant events that helped the United States become the super power it is today. Because of the United States location on the globe it was able to stay out of the sarcoid bombing European and Asian countries had experienced. Without these war torn cities the United States prospered by helping rebuild European nations, which propelled the United States into economic prosperity. These events marked the United States into super power status.
